This title talks about children who vanished without trace. When photographer Frank Danson took his wife Jenny to the theatre, they had two beautiful baby boys at home. But, when they returned, the boys had gone, having vanished without a trace and presumably kidnapped. The loss was too great for Jenny to bear. But, whilst Frank grieved for his family, he eventually came to accept that he would never see his children again. Then, twenty years later, the memories came screaming back. Who was sending him photographs that hinted at unimaginable horrors? Who was writing notes in blood, taunting Frank that the waiting was over? As the killings begin, amateur private eye, Jack Scott must solve a mystery once buried in the past but now disinterred to make Frank's life a waking nightmare.
