About the Author:

Betty Rohde's doctor told her she was a "walking time bomb," with a cholesterol level of 274 and triglycerides of 678. She adopted a healthier lifestyle and diet, and using lower-fat versions of her favorite recipes, she lost 86 pounds and has kept the weight off. Betty and her husband live in Gore, Oklahoma.
