Taylor's lectures wrestle with the question: "What does it mean to call our age secular?" They offer an account of "how we got to be that way..".It is a great pleasure to read a discussion of New Age spirituality by a gifted intellectual who eschews both sociological detachment and nostalgic, partisan jeremiads.
