In this book, based on his own experience, Kissinger's book explains what diplomacy is, and why, historically, the man in the street has always distrusted the whole idea. Moving from a sweeping overview of history to blow-by-blow, first-person accounts of his most secret negotiations with world leaders, Henry Kissinger describes the ways in which the art of diplomacy and the balance of power created the world we live in.
