Willow's mom had taken that picture of Buffy, Willow, and Xander sophomore year. Buffy's hair was longer then -- so, if it came to that, was Xander's. A fun novelization of three great episodes
THE XANDER YEARS is a novelization in the same vein (pun intended) as THE ANGEL CHRONICLES -- prose versions of three episodes of BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, in this case episodes focusing on Buffy's lovelorn friend Xander Harris. The episodes include "Teacher's Pet" (gorgeous substitute bio teacher turns out to be a praying mantis), "Inca Mummy Girl" (gorgeous exchange student turns out to be a 500-year-old murdering mummy), and "Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered" (Xander casts a love spell on Cordelia that backfires rather spectacularly).

It was great fun to take these episodes and flesh them out a bit. I have every confidence that that fun will also be felt by the reader. Enjoy!
