"Mr McGee went out to play, down to the beach one windy day," the story begins. His happy mood is spoilt when he is bitten by a flea, a flea that he can't get rid of. The only solution is to take off all his clothes and jump into the sea because of course, fleas don't like the sea. About the Author:
Pamela Allen was born in New Zealand where she studied art and became a secondary school teacher. She began illustrating books when her younger child started school. She won the Australian Picture Book of the Year Award two years running - for WHO SANK THE BOAT? and BERTIE AND THE BEAR. Pamela lives in Sydney.
Synopsis:
