In accordance with our direction, the engineers have presented a plan for disposing of the sewage of the city at an outlet in this local ity. The results of their investigations, together with plans of a practicable method for disposing of the sewage at the outlet suggested, are contained in their report, which is appended hereto and is made a part of this report. The estimated cost of the proposed works is in round numbers $800, 000, and the estimated annual cost of mainte nance and operation in the earlier years of the works $9, 000.
