Preface This is the second of my books which will ultimately make up a volume of five books. All will essentially have the same theme. This book is a broad view of life as I have perceived it over eighty years. I have examined many aspects of life, love and sorrow, humour, past experiences, matters of the soul and the afterlife. I have looked at social issues. I have invented the term Prosetry which describes my stories told in verse. There is more. Poetry is akin to painting and there are many pictures offered here for your entertainment. Poetry is the art of the shared metaphor, a way to get in touch with your inner life and sharing the inner life of the writer, linked by metaphors. I owe a dept of gratitude to Lewis Carroll. The title of this book comes from his book Alice in Wonderland, and it is wonderland which has inspired my poetry. I welcome you to the world of poetry and hope that you will enjoy the experience. about the Author Dr. John R. Strum aka Bob is an Passionate and Avid Writer / Poet with a professional background in Psychiatry.
