In 2004, Phil Druker was invited to trek through the Upper Dolpo: a distant mountainous and Tibetan region of Nepal inhabited by some of the toughest people on the planet. His 22-day trek stimulated and challenged his lifetime love of walking in the outdoors. He and his companions, Charla Britt and Laurie Vasily, made great friends, met engaging residents, and exalted with ethereal sunshine and high mountain passes.
