Some of the subject fields Benjamin is an expert in are: (1) African American Studies, although he is only an African American American by affection rather than by race like I am.(2) Women studies, although he is not a woman, like I am.(3) Mathematics (he took his Math credential from Mills {Women's} College, Oakland, CA(4) English as a Second Language in which he taught for almost 20 years in my school, the Newark Adult School (He was awarded Newark Adult ESL Teacher of the Year in 2000-2001)(5) Geography (He was Visiting Lecturer on HOW COUNTRIES ARE NAMED in the Graduate Department of UC, Riverside, CA).(6) Religious Studies (After obtaining M.Div. & S.T.M. at Yale Divinity School, New Haven, CT, he became a North American Missionary Professor at the Evangelical Theological Seminary, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and Dean of the Asian Theological Seminary, Manila, Philippines in the early 1980's).(7) (8) (9) History, Political Science, and Social Studies (He obtained a Ph.D. in History from the University of Toronto, Ontario Canada, and a B.A. {summa cum laude} in the combined fields of Political Science-Social Studies from American Presbyterian Silliman University, Central, Philippines).(10) Law (He finished Ll.B. {magna cum laude} from Silliman University, too)."PATRICIA D.
