About the Author:
Thomas P. Hopp was born in Seattle, Washington. He earned a Ph.D. in biochemistry at Cornell Medical College and helped found the multi-billion-dollar biotechnology company, Immunex. He traces his ancestry to Blackfoot Indians, Prussian hop farmers, African slaves and General Stonewall Jackson.
