About the Author:
Prior to publishing her first book, Denise Domning, mother of two and Scottsdale, Arizona, resident, owned two property management firms, invented an electrical lock and became CEO of her own corporation. "An obvious segue into a writing career," she jokingly states. Hailed by critics as a "superstar in the making" and a "first class writer on her way to the top", there can be no doubt of her success in this, Denise's newest field of endeavor. Her first medieval novel, Winter's Heat, received the Romantic Times award for "Best First Historical Novel of 1994". This year Romantic Times has nominated Denise for their "Career Achievement in European Romance" award. Her first Elizabethan novel, Lady in Waiting, was recommended by Publisher's Weekly as "well-written, wellresearched, with an accurate portrayal of Elizabeth" and has been nominated by Romantic Times this year for "Best European Novel of 1998".
