Synopsis

I acquired this book back in 2008, and loved everything about it - its adrenalin-fuelled storyline, the whole set-up (New York over the Christmas period, snow falling), and in particular Ryan Lock - a great action-man for our time. There's even a dog! It's fast, it's very filmic, and the author believes in the 'method' way of writing - he trained as a bodyguard - or close protection work as it's known in the US - in an army camp in Wales, as well as in the Czech Republic.
