About the Author:
Alexandre Dumas (b. 1855) is one of the most famous figures in French literature, best known for his historical novels of high adventure which have made him one of the most widely read French authors in the world. Former stand up comedian Richard Bean is one of the Britain's most exciting and prolific contemporary playwrights. His plays have been staged in the UK and on Broadway. His most recent success include The Heretic, and One Man Two Guvnors (currently playing both in the West End and Broadway) which jointly shared the 2011 Evening Standard Award for best new play.
