Hi, this is the fourth Welkin Weasel book and the first of the 'Victorian' trilogy. The first trilogy seemed to be enjoyed by a good readership (except for one disgruntled New Zealand reader who was disappointed in THUNDER OAK - apologies but try another one) and the Victorian age has always been a favourite of mine. I call it the Varicosian Age. Like the medieval trilogy, this one is light, jokey and full of allusions to other novels, stories and films. Some of them I don't recognise myself any more. Anyway, if you buy it, I hope you enjoy it, and good reading, weasel lovers.
