About the Author:

Polly Carlson-Voiles wrote and illustrated her award-winning first book, Someone Walks By. She has worked as a secondary special education and English teacher and has been a pup nanny at the International Wolf Center near her home in Ely, Minnesota, where on lucky nights she listens to the music of the wolves with her husband and dog.
