Synopsis
This text uses a breadth-first spiral introduction to programming in C++. Students are aimed to gain the satisfaction of programming very early in the course, using one data type, one condition statement, one loop form, etc. As they progress, they are introduced to more intricate programming. Although the author introduces useful aspects of object-oriented design, the text does not emphasise OOD.
