About the Author
Series editor LAURA FURMAN's work has appeared in The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Ploughshares, The Yale Review, and other magazines. She is the founding editor of the highly regarded American Short Fiction (three-time finalist for the American Magazine Award). A former professor at the University of Texas, she lives in Austin. JUROR BIOS: FIONA MCFARLANE is the author of The Night Guest and The High Places, which won the Dylan Thomas Prize in 2017. OTTESSA MOSHFEGH's novel Eileen was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize in 2016. ELIZABETH TALLENT's most recent story collection, Mendocino Fire, was a finalist for the 2016 PEN/Faulkner Award.
