About the Author:
William Slomanson is a Professor of Law at Thomas Jefferson School of Law. His military experience in Viet Nam sparked his interest in law and relations among nations. After earning his Juris Doctorate, he obtained a second law degree in International Law from Columbia University School of Law in New York. His eighth book, FUNDAMENTAL PERSPECTIVES ON INTERNATIONAL LAW, has been adopted for classroom use by one hundred and thirty-six universities in three countries. He has written many law review articles and legal opinion editorials. Professor Slomanson is the Chair (1995) and Newsletter Editor (1992) of the "UN21" Section of the American Society of International Law in Washington, D.C.
