Review:
"I like the approach of this text very much. It is the most comprehensive, contemporary, and up-to-date description of the field that I have seen in print. A particular strength is its emphasis on the use of technology in human services and the fact that this topic is explored not as an isolated chapter, but as an integrated aspect of every chapter. Equally important is its international perspective on issues related to human services." "The Woodside and McClam text continues to demonstrate why it is used so widely within the human services training programs. It deals thoroughly with material that is essential to the development of future human service professionals. The use of case studies and other illustrations provide a practical example for students to draw from.
