Book Description Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. 1st Edition. True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (25s). Signed and dedicated by the co-author (Johnny Byrne) with a personalized message in black ink directly to half-title page. Jacket has faults - namely patchy edge/shelf wear, a few small (largest approx. 1cm) tears, very small patchy loss (mainly to head/tail of spine and to corners), creasing/rubbing to edges, a few small marks, numerous scratches/scrapes, little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, crease to back inner flap, pushing/bumping to corners, fading to spine, patchy browning/minor foxing/odd small mark to reverse (white side) and is in only fair condition. Boards are near fine (having been well protected by the jacket) with a hint of pushing to corners and minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Pages are tanned (due to quality of paper used). Odd small mark/minor foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. Occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages. No other faults. The outer edges of the pages are also browned but the pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. The jacket has fading to the spine and rubbing to the edges.
