Synopsis
A brilliant new thriller about poetry and fascism In the 1930s a young poet and patriot, Richard Jameson falls in love with the socialist daughter of Sir Henry Exton, a powerful media mogul. But in courting her, he finds himself embroiled in a fascist struggle for influence over the heart of the establishment. About the Author
Sean O'Brien is a poet and playwright and critic. His work includes The Ghost Train (1995) (winner of the Forward Prize for poetry); HMS Glasshouse and The Deregulated Muse. His play Laughter When We're Dead was performed at Newcastle Live Theatre in 1999 to great acclaim.
