This text provides a collection of precedents and clauses covering a wide range of subject matter. This edition has been fully updated to take account of significant changes in law and practice since the 16th edition was published in 1994. In addition, the new edition sees a radical overhaul of the structure of the work. The cross-referencing has been greatly simplified, each chapter starts with full precedents, and a totally new "Clause Finder" at the beginning of the book enables you to trace individual clauses quickly. Another improvement to the text is that, for the first time, a CD-ROM is included with the book. The CD has been created using Butterworths' award-winning "books on screen" software and goes one step further than the book because all documents in Kelly have been reassembled into complete precedents. Every clause and precedent is reproduced in its entirety. Using the CD, one can locate the material required, either by entering a precedent or clause number or by navigating through the contents tree. Once found, you can simply print out the material or copy it into a word processing document and customize it to your precise requirements. The result is an increase in productivity and an improvement to the quality of the finished product.
