When the former Vogue model decided to turn the fascinating events of her life into a book, she went to fellow adventurer Lucy Irvine for help. Many people will be familiar with Irvine, she was the woman who was thrust into the limelight after answering an ad in Time Out "writer seeks 'wife' for year on Tropical Island". The resulting book, Castaway, spawned a film of the same name.
