Alison Fell is a Scottish writer who lives in London. Her most recent novel, The Mistress of Lilliput, received unanimous acclaim. She has edited three anthologies- The Seven Deadly Sins, The Seven Cardinal Virtues and Serious Hysterics. She has been a Writing Fellow at the University of East Anglia and has recently become Royal Literary Fund Writing Fellow at University College London. Tricks of the Light is her seventh novel.
