Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book is a fundamental analysis of the basic concepts on which the experiential sciences are founded. The author identifies and clarifies the elemental principles that form our understanding of space, time, matter, and motion. The work begins by identifying the conceptual problems inherent in the relationship between the concepts of Being and Force. This leads the author to question the traditional understanding of matter as a basic, unchangeable object. Instead, he suggests the concept of extension as more fundamental and argues that the concept of matter is derived from extension. Bringing the analysis into the realm of real experience, the author examines the role of humans in the perceiving of force and the complex relationship between force and matter. This work is sure to help readers more deeply understand the complex web of relationships that underlie the world we experience.
