Police officer Cressida Farleigh is called in to investigate a mysterious art fraud at a gallery specialising in modern erotic works. The gallery's owner is under suspicion, but is also a charming and powerfully attractive man who throws the young woman's powers of detection into confusion. Her long time detective boyfriend is soon getting jealous, but Cressida is also in the process of seducing a young artist of erotic images. As she finds herself drawn into a web of power games and personal discovery, the crimes continue and the case becomes ever more complex.

From the Author:
`The Gallery' was written in my fourth year as a Black Lace writer, and gave me the opportunity to use my interest in erotic art as part of the story. Involving, as it does, art fraud and undercover police work, it was also an opportunity for an erotic novel that had a different tone from some of my earlier work.

I was pleased with the characters and the plot, but above all I was pleased with the erotic content and the sexual challenges that faced my heroine, Cressida Farleigh during her undercover work at the art gallery, owned by the darkly enigmatic Guy Cronje. As Cressida learns more about the world of erotic art, and become sexually involved with one of the gallery's artists, it is always Guy who fascinates her, and slowly starts to force her to face the truth about her own sexuality.

The erotic content remained as high throughout this story as in my earlier work, and
I hope that people who didn't read it when it was first published enjoy this as much too.
