About the Author:
ENRIQUE BOUR is Professor of Economics at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is currently undertaking economic research at the FIEL Foundation. He is a past President of the Argentine Association for Political Economy (1996-98) and has also worked for the Central Bank of Argentina, the Ministry of Economy and the Secretary of Science and Technology of Argentina.
DANIEL HEYMANN is Professor of Economics at the University of Buenos Aires and the University of La Plata, Argentina, and teaches graduate courses in macroeconomics at the University Torcuato Di Tella. He is co-ordinator of the macroeconomics group in the Buenos Aires office of ECLAC. He is a member of the Argentine National Academy of Economic Sciences, and has published widely in the field of macroeconomics
FERNANDO NAVAJAS is Professor of Economics at the University of La Plata, Argentina, and Chief Economist at the FIEL Foundation in Buenos Aires. He has been Chief Advisor to the Ministry of Economy in Argentina, responsible for formulating economic policy. He has also contributed widely to books and journals on public economics, applied macroeconomics and industrial organization.
