About the Author:
Since Lesley Sutty first set foot in The Grenadines in 1969 she has been fascinated by their natural beauty, the hardy island people and the extraordinary wealth of marine life in the surrounding waters. In 1972 she sailed her topmasted island schooner to Union Island and remains deeply attached to this magical part of the Eastern Caribbean. As a writer and traveller her research in to the area's marine and land fauna and the prehistoric and modern-day societies have made her an acknowledged authority on the natural life and history of the area.
