Oswald Hanfling begins with an account of Wittgenstein's "Tractatus" and proceeds to the later philosophy of "Philosophical Investigations". He then attempts to apply Wittgenstein"s ideas to long-standing problems about language, knowledge, the mind and philosophy itself.
