Since then it has been the princial character in detective novels Nesser . Barbarotti is more optimistic than Van Veeteren character . Although the books are set in Sweden , the people of Kymlinge is fictitious and named after a ' abandoned subway station " in Stockholm ... Nesser said in an interview that has designed two more books before ending the saga of Inspector Barbarotti , one of them set in London and a final piece ..
