Anatomy & Physiology for English Language Learners is an introduction to basic anatomy and physiology. It presents science content and language skills necessary for success in academic science courses such as anatomy and physiology and human biology.
The textbook is designed for students at the high-intermediate level of English. Its goal is to prepare English language learners for success in future nursing an allied health, prerequisite courses. It can also be used by students who already hold nursing or allied health degrees in their countries and are preparing to take certification examinations in the United States.
