Two unloved lovers communicate in the language of daydreams.
Digby and Marie, unloved lovers, fill my small book with their screwball imaginings, boasting of passions that never happened, inventing egos they wish they had, decrying agonies reminiscent of ours but far more skewed--all in dialogues through which they obliquely keep reaching for each other...and miss. Digby and Marie are pictured in thebook by whimsical, tiny, tear-drop drawings. Though they may give a hint of what these two characters look like, our own imaginations must fill in the details.
