Synopsis
Clean, tight, New York-published 1985 history of the Grateful Dead. This copy (price snipped), published by St Martin Press of Fifth Avenue, found its way to London, from where it will be posted. Phil Lesh called the book a 'report on the work in progress' and Bob Weir said it was 'the most accurate description of our inception that I've ever seen'. Some great pics. Condition wise it is good/very good, but I always err on the side of caution. Page edges show signs of ageing, covers show some light scuffs if you move them around in the light, card covers are starting to curl up slightly. Overall good. A terrific read for rockers of a certain age.
