This is the first book in English on the Count. The photograph on the dust jacket is a fascist classic of Ciano, Mussolini's under secretary for press and propaganda, in his office, 1934. Ray Moseley is chief European correspondent for the Chicago Tribune. He has lived in Europe for many years, including five years in Rome, and he was runner-up for the Pulitzer Prize in international reporting in 1981.
