Book Description Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: As New. 1st Edition. A fine copy of John Lehmann's story of his relationship with Leonard and Virginia Woolf and of his unique connection with their creation, the Hogarth Press. Remarkably well preserved for a forty six-year old volume, both book and dust jacket are in fine condition. The dark green cloth-bound boards are evenly coloured and unmarked: no scratches, dents or bumps. All edges are straight, all corners sharp. The text block is square and tightly bound; there are a few tiny spots, barely visible on the top edge (of the text block) but none on the fore and bottom edges. Internally all pages are clean, bright and unmarked with no signs of former ownership other than a previous re-sale price written in pencil on the top right of the ffep. The dust jacket retains its new-looking crispness and gloss and there are no marks, tears, chips or unwanted creases and no fading to the colours of the artwork. The original publisher s price (£6.50) remains in place. We have included five photos of this book (the maximum enabled by Abebooks) and would be happy to provide more. Seller Inventory # 131
