Coming to America to make a better life has long been a dream of many from around the world. In the past, immigration was easier, but not so any longer. Now, many foreign nationals must be smuggled into the U.S. in order to gain entry. In addition, various criminal groups from around the world traffic people against their will to the U.S. for the purposes of sexual exploitation, slavery, and other underground illicit purposes.
