This is the first comprehensive annotated bibliography of works by and about Bernard Shaw. No book has appeared before that has surveyed all of the research and writing that the life and work of Bernard Shaw have evoked. About the Author
Stanley Weintraub is Evan Pugh Professor of Arts and Humanities at The Pennsylvania State University. He has authored or edited twenty books with a Shavian dimension, including Private Shaw and Public Shaw (Braziller, 1963), Journey to Heartbreak: The Crucible Years of Bernard Shaw, 1914-1918 (Weybright and Talley, 1971), The Unexpected Shaw (Ungar, 1982), Bernard Shaw: The Diaries, 1885-1897 (Penn State, 1986), and Bernard Shaw on the London Art Scene, 1885-1950 (Penn State, 1989). Dr. Weintraub was editor for SHAW: The Annual of Bernard Shaw Studies, Volumes 1-10.
