This expose of Masonic organizations has been written as a follow-up to Steven Knight's "The Brotherhood: The Secret World of the Freemasons", an inquiry into Masonic practices. In the aftermath of the allegations and disclosures this book generated, Martin Short has written a sequel which investigates in greater detail such areas as Masonic rituals and oaths, the occult elements of secret societies and the infiltration of Freemasons into such areas as politics, the Church, the armed forces and the police force.
