Three young friends were playing in the snow when one of them, Rue the Rabbit, received a letter from his famous uncle Henry, the inventor. The letter told him of something that he had discovered which would help everyone in Foxwood. Joined by his two friends Willy Hedgehog and Harvey Mouse, the three set out to visit Uncle Henry, unaware of the dangers ahead.

The story, written by Cynthia Paterson, is an exciting winter-time adventure introducing the animals of Foxwood Village and is beautifully illustrated with her husband Brian's watercolours. The book is suitable for reading aloud to children over three years old, but six-year-olds and above will enjoy reading it themselves.
