VINCENT HENDRICKS is Professor of Formal Philosophy at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He is the author of a number of books, including The Convergence of Scientific Knowledge (2001), Mainstream and Formal Epistemology, (2006) and Agency and Interaction (forthcoming). He is the editor of numerous volumes, and is editor-in-chief of the journal Synthese: An International Journal for Epistemology, Logic and Philosophy of Science and Synthese Library Series. In 2008 he was awarded the Danish Elite Research Prize.
DUNCAN PRITCHARD is a professor of Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. His research is primarily in epistemology, and he has published widely in this area, including two books, Epistemic Luck (2005) and What is This Thing Called Knowledge (2006).
