It's been two years since Raghu left his first love, Brahmi, on the edge of the roof one fateful night. He couldn't save her; he couldn't be with her. Having lost everything, Raghu now wants to stay hidden from the world. However, the annoyingly persistent Advaita finds his elusiveness very attractive. And the more he ignores her, the more she's drawn to him till she bulldozes her way into an unlikely friendship. What attracts at first, begins to grate. Advaita can't help but want to know what Raghu has left behind, what he's hiding, and who broke his heart. She wants to love him back to life, but for that she needs to know what wrecked him in the first place. After all, the antidote to heartache is love.

The boy with a broken heart. The sequel to The Boy who loved , is as enchanting and promising as every book of Durjoy is! It starts with an unknown protagonist and as the story advances gradually, every piece falls into place. The aloofness of Raghu is captivating. How story unfolds itself eventually is worth the read. The female protagonist Advaita is potrayed beautifully. Along with it, the real face of the society is highlighted! The villain of the story, Meghnad is a powerful lad who meets his deserved fate in the end and its extremely satisfying to know so! The beautiful reality how females are still under-treated in some families is nerve-wrecking and eye-opening at the same time. A heart-warming platonic love that is described between the leads is something which adds charm to the story! Also, the little moments like Raghu s pot of chai, or the selfless love of Altaf makes it a treat to read. The best part is the climax where Brahmi contacts Advaita, it leaves you shocked and the abrupt end makes me crave for the sequel that is about to follow! --ByMaitri Jhaverion 8 December 2017
No one, simply no one can stop from reading this book if they have read 'The Boy Who Loved'. Just like it's prequel, this book discusses some of the serious problems our country is facing. And everyone who has read all of Durjoy sir's novels, knows that no other writer can potray romance in a way he does. The character of Raghu has been beautifully depicted. He still is not over Brahmi but the way he becomes friends with Advaita and then falls in love with her is a story worth reading. The way it has been written made me fall in love with it's charcters. It made me smile, cry and even gave me goosebumps! This book keeps you engaged till you read the last page of it. And the end leaves you on a much bigger cliffhanger than the last book does! I can't even wait for the sequel to come! This story of love, beautifully interwined with friendship and pains of the past, is not something to be missed! --ByRiaon 6 December 2017
