119 pp , IN ENGLISH, ABOUT THE AUTHOR :: David Herbert Richards Lawrence ( Eastwood , England, September 11, 1885 Vence, France, March 2, 1930 ) was an English writer, author of novels , stories, poems , plays, essays , travel books , paintings, translations and literary criticism. Their literature exposes an extensive reflection on the dehumanizing effects of modernity and industrialization , 2 and addressed issues relating to emotional health , vitality , spontaneity , human sexuality and instinto.3 4 reviews Lawrence on all these affairs caused him many personal problems : in addition to an order of official persecution , his work was repeatedly censored ; Moreover , the biased interpretation of that throughout the second half of his life was a constant. As a result , had to spend most of his life in a voluntary exile he called "savage pilgrimage ." Although at the time of his death his image before the public was that of a pornographer who had wasted his considerable talents , EM Forster, in an obituary , defended his reputation by describing it as "the greatest imaginative novelist of our generation " .5 later , FR Leavis , a critic of Cambridge markedly influence, highlighted both his artistic integrity and his moral seriousness , placing much of his fiction in the " great tradition " canonical novel in England. Over time , the image of Lawrence has established itself as a visionary thinker and a great representative of modernism in the context of English literature , although some feminist critics deplore his attitude towards women , and the vision of the sexuality is perceived in his works.
