Charlie is a feisty, spirited girl who has never been bothered by the fact that she has a glass eye. She is a keen footballer and captain of the school team. When a boy in her class sneers at her and calls her 'handicapped', Charlie begins to wonderhow that term applies to her. When her line of sight is blocked during an important football match and she misses a crucial goal, she stants to wonder if he is right. But then something happens which shows Charlie that her 'handicap' exists more in Jason's mind than in her glass eye.
