Synopsis

Philip Pullman was brought up in Africa, Australia, England and Wales. He studied English at Oxford and then became a teacher and a lecturer. He now writes full-time. TIGER IN THE WELL was shortlisted for the Guardian Fiction Prize, THE FIREWORK-MAKER'S DAUGHTER won a Smarties Prize and NORTHERN LIGHTS won last year's Guardian Prize and the Carnegie Medal. Synopsis:
