How many times have you been told, take the courses, get a degree, read the books, then when you get a job you'll REALLY learn the profession? That always bugged me -- why didn't the textbooks tell you what you really needed to know up front? This is why I wrote TODAY'S VIDEO -- to tell the important stuff, not just the obvious stuff. A big revelation about the video business: video is not just aiming cameras or copying tapes. It's a bunch of odd things you wouldn't guess at first.
