Review:

"Tips for Teaching Culture is an excellent resource for the teacher wanting a brief introduction to the field of intercultural communication and a set of quick practical ideas and activities for use in the classroom."
--Annette Bradford, TESOL Intercultural Communication Interest Section Newsletter

"...one of the rare textbooks that has been able to successfully bridge the theory, research and practice divide....the latest research on the topic, explained in approachable language and elaborated with practical, everyday examples....provides new insights for even the seasoned professional...."
--Kate Mastruserio Reynolds, TEFL.net

"Written to help teachers consider not only what research says but also what they can do in the classroom, this book is well organized, clearly written, and provides many ways for ESL/EFL teachers to help students build cross-cultural understanding and develop intercultural competence. There are clear teaching applications on virtually every page, which helps readers apply the discussion of intercultural communication to their students and courses."
--Michael Lessard-Clouston, The CATESOL Journal   25.1   2013/2014
