Bruce King received his Ph.D. in biopsychology from the University of Chicago in 1978. He has taught human sexuality to about 40,000 students at the University of New Orleans since 1981. He has also conducted human sexuality workshops for physicians, public school teachers, staff members working with the mentally retarded, and parental groups. In addition to conducting research in the field of human sexuality, Dr. King has co-authored a textbook on statistics and has published over 60 papers on the biological basis of feeding behavior and obesity. He is a Fellow in the American Psychological Society and an honorary member of the Golden Key National Honor Society for excellence in teaching.
