Sharon L. Hanna is Chair of Social Sciences, Academic Education, at Southeast Community College in Lincoln, Nebraska. Having been an educator in Nebraska, New Jersey, and Illinois over a period of several years, she remains enthusiastic about teaching and her students. She has received both faculty achievement and outstanding teacher awards. Her research on the strengths of stepfamilies was published in academic journals, and she served as national president of the Stepfamily Association of America. She is the author of Career by Design, Second Edition, published by Prentice Hall in 2002. Married to Bob Dinkel, she has two daughters, two stepsons, a granddaughter, and a grandson.
