About the Authors:
Pei Zheng, an assistant professor of computer science at Arcadia University in Philadelphia, received his Ph.D. from Michigan State in 2003. He has led a number of research and development projects focused on next-generation mobile wireless applications on Microsoft Windows Mobile, Linux, and PalmOS, both within the university and as an industry consultant.

Lionel M. Ni heads the computer science department at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He received his Ph.D. in from Purdue University and has been teaching computer science since 1981. During his career, he has been involved in many projects related to wireless technologies, 2.5G/3G cellular phones, and embedded systems.
